All meals are prepared and cooked on site in our kitchen.Due to the nature of our residents a mainly soft diet is provided and account taken of special diets, low fat, diabetic, low sodium, gluten free, vegetarian and if aware of a diagnosis, diverticular disease. There is a cooked breakfast provided until 9:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday as well as fruit juices, hot drinks, cereals porridge and toast.
The lunchtime meal is taken over two sittings and there is a choice offered to the main meal. Furthermore omelettes can be cooked on request. Suppers are a warm meal 5 days a week of pasta or eggs/beans etc on toast and 2 days of soup and sandwiches. Soup is available daily for those who require it.
There is an evening snack sandwich and biscuits after 8pm with the choice of hot drink. Between meals, there are hot drinks and juices offered with biscuits or homemade cakes, cheese and biscuits or fresh fruit. Hot drinks and juice is available 24 hours a day.
