Our Activities Co-ordinator Jennie (featured in the pictures here) ensures a packed programme of varied events for our residents throughout the week
This includes arts and crafts, exercise, reminiscence sessions and entertainers, their visits always being welcomed by all residents.
We also take residents for days out using our own minibus.
Reminiscence therapy is very important for people living with dementia and we have our own dedicated room
The items within the room will bring back memories and encourage discussions about the residents past.
Our own minibus takes residents and their carers for days out to locations such as Amberley Museum, Swanbourne Lake, Shoreham Airport and Brighton.
At the Home we call these days out "TNG On Tour".
It is lovely that the home arranges garden parties etc, to involve all, and I much appreciate the hard work that must go into these.
. The entertainment/activities team are brilliant and you can see what they have been up to on social media - fantastic photos.
The two barbecues we attended this year were extremely well organised - hats off to the kitchen staff, creative team and staff in general.
