At The New Grange we regard ourselves like a family where we all look out for each other - not only the residents, but staff also.
This has meant that many of the team members have been with us a long time, with the Manager, Deputy Manager and two other members being at The New Grange since 2010, and the majority of staff since 2015 and 2016.
We believe it is important to spend as much time with our residents, and less time with paperwork. But accurate care planning is essential for their well-being and safety.

It reviews and updates care plans and risk assessments and alerts staff automatically.
It is easy to use and read and staff can enter details as they happen.
It includes body maps and details that can be scanned and held on each individual's plan.
The home can create a hospital pack should a resident need to be admitted.
The diversity of staff for me is great as it helps with communication. They all do their jobs with a smile - they are the reason why the residents are happy.

The staff are always friendly. I get offered to stay and eat with my mum every time I visit.
They always treat her with respect.
The same staff are still there since my mother moved in 3 years ago, which I think says a lot about the atmosphere. They all know what each resident needs as well as their personalities.
